Peace and quiet.

It doesn't take hours and hours to properly be awake in the morning, just hours. Getting to that fully awake state requires quiet time after getting out of bed. A pot of coffee doesn't hurt either.

Sudden loud or constant noise does not help the waking process. They jolt and jerk one into anxiety and stress. Stress leads to irritation which leads to exhaustion. Then one never wakes up properly. Nap time should be refreshing but as a result of exhaustion, it is not. It's a neverending cycle of not being able to wake up properly and being exhausted from that.

Oh, to have some quiet mornings where I can wake up properly and not need to nap from exhaustion.
